what to harvest and other timely garden tasks. This class is perfect for the
beginning gardener and those new to growing in Central Texas.

Speaker GARDEN CLASS: “Go Native!” with Kathy Henderson from the
Native Plant Society of Texas. Kathy’s presentation will demonstrate several
ways to re-purpose your yard for the benefit of our birds, butterflies and
other wildlife by using native plants. Growing native plants also helps to conserve
our precious water. She will answer questions like: What is a native plant in
the first place? What are my options for changing from lawn grass to
native plants? Can a yard be pretty and colorful with only native plants?
