February Garden Classes

We are gearing up for spring this month at the Monument Market. Join us Saturdays at 10:30 to learn the fundamentals of growing food and other plants. Classes are free an open to the public. Here's the schedule for this month's classes...

The first Saturday of every month is about what to do in your garden that month. February in the Garden on February 4th is all about cool weather veggies and pruning.

 Honey Bee on Monument Basil
On February 11th we are excited to host Introduction to Beekeeping by long time Georgetown beekeeper Jimmie Oakley. This class is a must if you've ever considered beekeeping and want to know if it is right for you.

There will be NO CLASS on the 18th. I'll be attending the Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners (TOFGA) Conference in Mesquite. If you have the time, I recommend this conference highly. You can find more info at TOFGA.org.

On the 25th Billy Spencer from Mark Word Design will be joining us in a discussion about "Why we Love Roses". Bring your bypass pruners and gloves to participate in a hands on pruning demo.
