Growing Brassicas Class this Saturday, 9/15

This Saturday at 10:30am in the Monument Market we'll be taking a close look at some of the fall garden favorites including broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and kale. All of these crops are in the genus Brassica and are also often referred to as Cole crops. Brassicas grow well in the Texas fall and grow sweeter as the days get cooler. Not only are they some of the most nutritious veggies you can eat, but many of them are also attractive plants that can be worked into your landscape as your warm season annuals wane in the cooler days ahead. I hope you will join us Saturday to learn more!
